Responsible for supplying the majority of opium to both camps of the Crimean War, this member of the landed gentry is managing to fritter away the remains of his estate despite the substantial income gleaned from his illicit activities. Charming and well mannered despite being severely histrionic, Mr. Oliphant fluidly conducts affairs throughout the world under the comforting umbrella of Pax Brittanica. Being an 8th degree mason, he also enjoys exceptional privileges ranging from skirting inspections on imports to being provided an audience with many invaluable functionaries in the Empire. An excellent rider, Mr. Oliphant enjoys fox hunting on his family estate when at home.

This is the oily kind of gentleman who you imagine could slip inside the walls and listen in on the conversations on both sides. And then he supplies opium to each of the conversationalists.

I've been a fan of your work for a long time and didn't know you had a devart account until recently! I am a frequent visitor to your website and am always sending links to friends of mine saying "Check this out! This guy's stuff is absolutely amazing!"

I think this is my favorite character design of yours, not because it's wonderfully executed (the hands are so perfect, my favorite part of the drawing), but because he's also totally my type. Rowr. You just rock up and down, thought I'd drop you a line from a long time fan.
