Romulus by Keithwormwood Romulus by Keithwormwood
Bearing the symbol of the fasces, the Romulus was introduced as an AI controlled lictor. Lauded as a solution to lictor corruption and resultedly an end to magistrates being assassinated by their own bodyguards, Romulus models were manufactred in droves.
Catastrophic accidents led to a return to wet-ware plebian lictors, who often now find themselves defending against assaults by decommissioned Romuluses directed by competitive parties who also hold imperium.

DAYM, boy. This is some awesome work. Did you make this partially on the pc or just straight up pencil 'n paint? There's just one thing: whats up with the penis-like armour?

I don't know if this was on purpose, but the Gatling gun arms themselves resemble fasces.

lol i accedentally sent this to the group drunk pokemon please ignore that

nice mecha design though it looks a bit weak on his slim tiny feet
if it can move at all on these without breaking them it has to be really really slow

These rock. I love the organic bone-like shapes. I also like how the weight of these machines sits upon such thin legs, much like a buffalo. Of course that's as far as the buffalo comparison goes. Great concepts and great rendering.

this lefts me wondering if the gunbarrels could actually fire, and if the whole mechanics could fit into the structure surrounding the arm. give that its a rotating mechanism similar to how a minugun works, i see no room for the feeding system if its connected to teh gun from behind, also, does it feature a magazine to carry the ammo mpunted on the back? i doubt all the ammo such weapon would consume would be stored on its shoulders...

i'm asking since i seen you being so extremely detailed and technical with said desing leaves me wonder if you considered those elements.

The barrel configuration locks in before firing, making the whole thing a slightly tighter cylinder. If you notice the muzzles are actually aimed outwards, since it's a rotating set of Krummlauf barrels that allow the bodyguard in CQB to fire around corners or over cover. It uses shot shells and the feeds lead into the back of the torso and up to the magazine whose seam you can see up under the projection at the top in the rear view.

this amazing, truely astounding, the only ting i have to say is that it's feet seem a little disproportional to the rest of its body... not to be mean of course im just a very critical reviewer also its hard to tell what it is on top there and seems easily to fall off balance. but dont listen to me :blahblah: im to critical like i said.
